Baby’s Skin

August 18th, 2009

I don’t have babies anymore, but on Friday night last week I volunteered to watch my friend’s two month old little baby. I have to say that he was such a good tempered little guy, that it really ended up being a little boring (in a good way of course). He was just as cute as could be, sleeping a lot, eating once, and just happily playing with us. But the thing I noticed most about this little baby was how nice his skin is. It just goes to show you how much the environmental issues we have today really do affect a person’s skin. Being only two months in this world, this little baby has not had a lot of time for his skin to be exposed to many things. As we start to age, we spend more time in the sun, more time in temperature controlled buildings, and more time just being outside in who knows what, in the air that we breathe.  Look what it does to us!  We all know that there are a lot of pollutants there! Just think if we could all go back and have the skin like this new little baby, the kind that we all once had when we first came into this world. Wouldn’t that be nice to see in the mirror each day!
